It doesn't work 100%

The typing indicator doesn't work when a person types 1 word messages or messages that aren't long.. Please do fix it :0

Works very well! It wasn't working properly for the past few months (it wasn't showing the typing indicator on the channels). I just updated it and it works perfectly well! It shows the indicator on the channels, servers, and Dm's.
I downloaded this on December 12th 2020 and it worked as expected, but then a few days later the indicator stopped appearing on channels and only appeared on server icons. Also, it appears you now need to click and enter a server whenever the plugin loads before it's indicator appears.
Due to a discord update the plugin broke for guild text channels. I now fixed it and it should work as intended again.

even though i have the option ticked, the indicator does not appear in the server channels. the indicator appears on the server icon itself, but not in the server

It works alright when the channels are not muted, can you please make it indicate a typing even if the channel is muted?
That's dumb, why would they? You have it muted, meaning you don't want notifications for it, and to extension, typing notifications. Just unmute the channel.
It worked for me but I got a few new plugins and now it doesn't work I am not entirely sure why but before it stopped working it was great.

Is there a way to make the animation faster/slower? and Is there a way to change the color of the typing indicator?
For the colors I just edited the TypingIndicator.plugin.js file so mine is now red

You know the funny looking #setofnumbersand letters sorta deal? That's the the HTML colour coding. You take an HTML strand such as #df9e0b and slap it on in there above the default one.
